Visitor guidelines.

We, you and I, as a team, pledge to protect our nature and keep the environment green. These guidelines keep the garden a healthy place for the plants and animals, and a pleasant one for every group.

No disposable plastic or thermocol

Disposable plastic and thermocol items of any kind are not allowed inside the garden premises.

If this rule is broken, a fine is charged immediately, and the group must clean up all plastic and thermocol from the garden at its own cost.

Plants and animals

Most of the plants in the garden are exotic and have been brought in from countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Thailand. The livestock comes from the Sundarbans.

Please do not touch or disturb the plants or animals in any way. Any harm to them is handled strictly and fined on the spot.

Play equipment and property

The play equipment and rides are there for everyone to enjoy.

If any equipment or property is found broken at the end of your visit, the cost is deducted from your caution deposit.

Cooking and washing up

After using utensils, please clean them at the marked washing area in the garden, never in the ponds.

Washrooms

Washrooms for visitors are marked. Other bathrooms on the grounds are for staff.

Parking

Parking space is limited. Vehicles must be parked in the parking area provided; parking is not allowed inside the garden.

Parking is entirely at your own risk. The management cannot take responsibility for vehicles.

Group size

Please keep to the number of visitors given at booking. If the group grows by more than 10 people, the extra guests are charged on a per-head basis.

Cleanliness and conduct

If any mess is caused during the visit, for example sickness after alcohol, the group is responsible for cleaning it. Otherwise a cleaning charge applies.

Personal belongings and safety

The management is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or for any accident during your visit. Please look after your belongings and keep an eye on children, especially near the ponds and play equipment.

Caution deposit

A caution deposit is collected when you book. After your picnic, the manager and caretakers check the grounds.

The deposit is returned by cheque. Any damage found is deducted from it.
